CareEpilepsy Ethiopia is dedicated to bringing epilepsy "out of the shadows" in Ethiopia, where it has long been hidden. Our relentless efforts involve engaging the government and civil society to debunk misconceptions and promote tolerance, support, and understanding for individuals of all ages living with epilepsy. To achieve this, we conduct annual public education and awareness campaigns, reaching out to various target groups such as adolescents, young adults, and people with epilepsy and their caregivers. Our campaigns utilize diverse channels, including traditional media, social media platforms, as well as community and faith leaders, to ensure widespread impact and create a more inclusive and informed society.
