Description

To perform a variety of office support duties and be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the building in which they work by performing various cleaning and dispatching duties.

Requirements

  1. Diploma holder in any discipline although Administration will be preferred; but a minimum of Ethiopian School leaving certificate 12 grade
  2. Strong communication skills                
  3. Able to work well both as part of a team and alone;              
  4. Willing and able to work in different environments, including being office-based and spending a significant amount of time on the ground within communities;                 
  5. Reasonable knowledge of Microsoft programme Word;    
  6. Can type in Amharic and English.
  7.  Must have an eye for details
  8. Previous experience in a similar position may be an asset.

Responsibilities

2. Community Education Responsibilities:
2.1 Help prepare awareness campaign such as the national epilepsy week.
2.2 Assist in origanising trainings and workshops.
2.3 Teach in community centres, schools, eder and hospitals etc… to raise epilepsy awareness.

3. Media and Communication
  • Plan for posts on social media, YouTube
  • Develop TikTok to raise awareness.
4. Meetings Responsibility:
  • Arrange meeting rooms, copy documents and organize refreshments.
  • Help organize patient support group meetings, coffee morning meetings, and attend.
  • Represent careepilepsy Ethiopia team in all appropriate meetings.
5. Finance Responsibilities:
  • Go to places such as banks and government offices as requested.
  • Maintaining adequate stock levels of stationery and office consumables.
  • Forward all purchase request forms to the finance officer.
