What We Do

Clinical Care

At our drop-in center, we provide comprehensive, person-centered clinical care for people living with epilepsy and related neurological conditions. Services include medical consultations, pediatric care, EEG/MRI diagnostics, medication support, and home monitoring. We also offer referrals for conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injuries, mental health issues, and infections.

Mental Health Care

Living with epilepsy and mental health or substance use challenges can feel isolating. We provide one-on-one counseling, family therapy, and access to integrated mental health and addiction care. Whether for individuals or caregivers, we treat the whole person, not just the condition, offering support, guidance, and hope every step of the way.

Wellbeing Support

We place the wellbeing of people with epilepsy and their families at the heart of our work. Our support includes telephone helpline, peer support, and reintegration into school or work. These services reduce isolation, build resilience, and promote lasting wellbeing.

Community Education

We aim to eliminate stigma and discrimination so that people with epilepsy and their families can live with dignity and fully participate in education, employment, and community life. We do this by raising awareness, creating accessible educational resources, and training.

Epilepsy Trainings

Our Health Care Strengthening Program improves access to life-saving epilepsy care by training primary health care providers. By equipping frontline workers with the skills to diagnose and treat epilepsy, we’re ensuring timely care and reducing preventable deaths.

Partnership Initiatives

We believe lasting change in epilepsy care comes through collaboration. We work with national and international partners, including the Ministry of Health, and the Ethiopian diaspora. Our initiatives include training, telemedicine clinic, medication support, and research.
