We are preparing for the yearly Ethiopian National Epilepsy Week campaign of 2023. The National Epilepsy Week is a yearly unique event organized by CareEpilepsy Ethiopia to acknowledge and highlight the psychosocial, economic and healthcare challenges faced by people with epilepsy, their families and carers. This program will also give the opportunity to sponsors, partners and stakeholders to make a difference for people with epilepsy. Our program includes raising public awareness about epilepsy, multidisciplinary workshop, clinical training for nurses and raising $10,000 to continue providing free antiepileptic drugs and free clinical services, including counseling and EEG test.

8ኛውን ብሄራዊ የሚጥል ህመም ሳምንት ከየካቲት 6 / 2015 ዓ.ም - የካቲት 11/ 2015 ዓ.ም ይከበራል፡፡
ኬርኤፕለፕሲ ኢትዮጵያ 8ኛውን ብሄራዊ የሚጥል ህመም ሳምንት ከኢትዮጵያ ሰብአዊ መብት ኮሚሽን፣ የኢትዮጵያ ነርቭ ሀኪሞች ማህበር፣ የኢትዮጵያ የህብረተሰብ ጤና ኢንስቲዩት ከግራር ቤት ተሀድሶ ማህበር በመተባበር ከየካቲት 6 / 2015 ዓ.ም - የካቲት 11/ 2015 ዓ.ም ለማክበር በዝግጅት ላይ ይገኛል፡፡ በተጨማሪም ይህ የየካቲት ወር አገልግሎታችንን ለማስፋት እና የሙሉ ጊዜ የሚጥል ህመም ነጻ ሕክምና ለማስኬድ፣ የሚጥል ህመም መድሀኒቶችን፣ የመመርመሪያ አገልግሎቶችን እንዲሁም የአእምሮ ጤና ድጋፍ ፕሮግራሞችን ለመስጠት አመታዊ የገንዘብ ማሰባሰብያ ወር ነው።
በዚሁ ሳምንት ስለህመሙ በህብረተሰቡ ውስጥ ያለው የተሳሳተ አመለካከት እንዲቀየር ግንዛቤ ለመፍጠር እና በሚጥል ህመም ታማሚዎች የሚደርሰውን መገለልና መድሎ ለማስቀረት የመፍትሄ አቅጣጫ ለመፈለግ፤ በሚጥል ህመም ዙሪያ የዉይይት መድረክ (multi-disciplinary workshop)፤ የሚጥል ህመምን ማከምና መንከባከብ የሚችል የጤና ባለሙያዎች ቁጥር ለማብዛት፣ እንዲሁም ህመሙ እንዳይከሰት ለመከላከል በጤና ተቋማት ውስጥ ለሚሰሩ የጤና ባለሙያዎች የሁለት ቀን ስልጠና (clinical training) ይሰጣል፡፡ ከዚህ ጎን ለጎን የተለያዩ የግንዛቤ ማስጨበጫ ስራዎች በሆስፒታሎች፤ በጤና ጣቢያዎች፤ በትምርት ቤቶች፤ በድርጅቶች በመዘዋወር ይሰራሉ፡፡
በኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ በሚሊዮን የሚቆጠሩ የሚጥል ህመም ታማሚዎች ሕይወትን የሚቀይር ሕክምና በዋጋ እና ተደራሽነት ምክንያት ሳያገኙ የአካል ጉዳትና የሞት ሰለባ ሆነዋል። ኬርኤፕለፕሲ ኢትዮጵያ ለታማሚዎችና ቤተሰቦቻቸው እየሰጠ ያለውን እንክብካቤ እንዲቀጥል አጋራ ሆነው ይረዱን ዘንድ በትህትና ይጠይቃል ። በተለያዩ መንገዶች ኦን ላይን እና ሌሎች የክፍያ ዘዴዎችን በመጠቀም ሥራችን እንድትደግፉ በትህትና እንጠይቃለን።
