IBE Africa Regional Conference 2024

On behalf of the Organising Committee, we extend a warm and enthusiastic welcome to the 2023 IBE Africa Epilepsy Conference. Our dedicated and talented team has come together to ensure that this conference will be a remarkable experience for all. The theme of this conference, "Stamping Epilepsy Stigma out of Africa," holds great significance as it marks a milestone for our organization. We are honored to serve as co-chairs for this vital event. This conference serves as a platform for individuals and organizations to enrich their knowledge, exchange ideas, expand their networks, and raise epilepsy awareness. Our diverse audience includes neurologists, nurses, epilepsy care providers, associations, individuals living with epilepsy, and their caregivers. Our expectations for this conference are substantial, encompassing discussions on a wide array of epilepsy-related topics, including medical, social, research, advocacy, policy, education, and identifying the challenges and solutions to improve epilepsy services in rural areas across Africa. Additionally, the conference will feature presentations aimed at capturing valuable regional insights to foster collaboration on a continental and global scale.
